Brandon Fee

Director of Technical Services at Oakwood Worldwide (Asia) Pte Ltd

Having majored in Interior Design, Brandon has spent the last 17 years crafting his trade in designing interior spaces relating to Hospitality, Commercial and Residential uses. With his skills honed over the years in the diverse projects he has undertaken, the invaluable insights gained have deepened his resolve in advocating sustainability and biophilia through design.Prior to being appointed a SIDS council member, Brandon has actively contributed his time to provide mentorship to students of graduating cohorts from his alumni – Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, through reviews of their industry portfolio to start them on their first step into employment. He was also previously in the Interior Design Confederation Singapore council, which was responsible, amongst others, in successfully delivering the inaugural conference, “Design Value: Beyond the Tangible” in 2009, the first of its kind in Singapore featuring prominent speakers from the global design community.As a firm believer of the transformational role that Design Thinking plays in bettering society, Brandon is confident that it is the foundation to solving real world problems and tackling climate change. He is also currently pursuing his academic interest in Design Innovation and Communication as part of his lifelong learning.Outside of the design realm, Brandon is passionate about endurance sports and is often cycling and trail running. He draws parallels between Sports and Design, as both fields require strong dedication and resolve to achieve the desired outcome.
