Course Chair of Temasek Polytechnic (Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design, Specialist Diploma in Interior Design Practice| Lighting Design)

Sock Yee is the Course Chair at Temasek Polytechnic, Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design. She is also a registered Architect with more than 10 years of industry experience. During her practice as an architect, she managed different types of projects ranging from commercial, institutions, religious, mixed-used, industrial developments, interior fit-out works, conservation buildings and retrofitting of existing buildings. She was a Director of VivATA Pte Ltd prior to joining Public Service and an elected council member in Singapore Institute of Architects in 2019-2021. She involved in various committees and workgroups during her term as council member to transform the profession at a fundamental level and to become thought leaders on how the profession serve and stay relevant to society.

Sock Yee always believes in contributing and building the design fraternity in Singapore, believing in the bio-diversity between practice and education. Being involved in both educator and practitioner roles also allow her an opportunity to promote excellence in design through all aspect, continuing of professional development and promoting quality design education.
