Kat Tan, the founder of her own interior design company, D Editors Pte Ltd, is currently serving her role as Honorary Secretary Of SIDS – Society Of Interior Designers Singapore (2022-2024). She was also the Chair person of the International Affairs Committee and SIDA Gala 2020. Being in the Interior design industry for 24 years since she graduated from NAFA in 1996, Kat is known for her intricate detailing knowledge for both technical and soft furnishing in her designs. Her projects include luxury homes, show flats, sales offices, offices, F&B.In 2002, Kat was stationed in Shanghai and had successfully completed the Jinlin Tiandi Development near Xintiandi, which comprises of service apartments, clubs, lobbies and residential apartments and multiple show flat units. After her return to Singapore, she continued to deliver almost 200 units of show flats for local developers in 2005. Her recent years completed works include Westwood residences, waterfront @ Faber, the creek @ Bukit, Marina Bay residences, Gramercy Park, Ardmore 3, New Futura as well as some Good Class Bungalows.She was also the designer for Taiwanese musician, Mr David Tao Tze apartment in Singapore. She was also been exclusively invited to appear in few of the local interior design TV shows as Judge such “Channel News Asia House of style" and ”Home Décor Survival”. Her works were published local magazines such as Designer showcase, Home concepts, August man, Singapore Tatler homes.
