Raymond Kua is the Founder & Principal Designer of The Design Practice, a Singapore-based interior design and renovation firm established in 2008. With over 15 years of hands-on experience spanning residential and commercial projects, Raymond has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, functional spaces that reflect both client aspirations and design integrity.​

Beyond his studio practice, Raymond brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by his background in Chinese metaphysics — an approach that informs his sensitivity to spatial harmony and human-centred design.​

A serving SIDS Council Member for last 2024–2026 term, Raymond returns with firsthand governance experience and a continued commitment to raising industry standards. His decision to stand for re-election reflects his belief that meaningful change in the profession requires sustained, dedicated representation — by practitioners who remain deeply invested in both craft and community.​
