Fann Zhi Jie is a recipient of the 2023 President’s Award for Teachers and an award-winning educator with over a decade of experience in design education. In Singapore Polytechnic, he shapes narratives, experiences, and meaningful industry connections.

He currently serves as President of the SIDS (2026–2028) and is a Board Member of the Asia Pacific Space Designers Association (APSDA). His past leadership roles within SIDS include Education Chair, Honorary Treasurer, and 1st Vice President.

Zhi Jie is a strong advocate for bridging academia and industry, fostering learning ecosystems that support lifelong learning and the continued evolution of design practice.
