Kiang Siew is a spatial designer and educator with over 20 years of experience across architecture, interiors, exhibitions, and furniture design. His early practice at Kay Ngee Tan Architects included key projects such as the Singapore Pavilion at World Expo Shanghai and Page One Bookstore at VivoCity, recipient of the President’s Design Award 2007. He has worked across a wide range of project types, from public spaces such as the Singapore River Round Island Route and the Singapore Botanic Gardens Gallop Extension (SIA Architectural Design Awards 2023 Design of the Year) to international developments including GLP I-Park Beijing. His work also extends to interiors and exhibitions, including Books Kinokuniya New York, restaurants for the Les Amis Group, and Hybricity: Singapore in Beijing. Bridging design practice, education, and the arts, he brings a holistic and interdisciplinary perspective to the profession, informed by experience across multiple scales and contexts.
