Trained as an architect, Kelley is the founder/creative director of The Press Room, an interdisciplinary design studio and Studio SML, an online archival of Singapore creatives. She serves as External Examiner for the M.Arch at NUS, and senior lecturer for B.A.(Hons) ID of LASALLE College of the Arts. She was conferred the SkillsFuture Fellowship 2021 and President’s Design Award “Designer of the Year 2020””, Singapore’s highest accolade in design. She sits on the Advisory Board of the National Heritage Board and has juried on prestigious awards including D&AD Awards, Red Dot Awards, Design for Asia Award, James Dyson Award, etc.
