Hwee Li is an accomplished interior designer with over 25 years of local and international experience. A First Class Honours graduate in Museum and Exhibition Design from the UK, she began her career in London, including at Foster + Partners, before returning to Singapore.​

Passionate about mentorship, she served as a full-time lecturer in Retail and Hospitality Design (2009–2012) and received a commendation at the Nippon Paint Young Designer’s Award 2012 for guiding emerging designers.​

In 2012, she founded Liid Studio, followed by Liid Associates in 2014, building a respected design practice under the Liid brand. She continues to nurture future talent as an adjunct lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.​

Hwee Li currently serves as Co-Chair of the Singapore Interior Design Accreditation Council and Honorary Secretary of SIDS (2024–2026), and is dedicated to advancing standards, empowering designers, and strengthening Singapore’s design community.​
