Nikki Hunt is Founder and Principal of Design Intervention, one of Singapore’s most established interior design studios. Since founding the practice in 2004, she has built a body of work recognised both locally and internationally, including ten appearances on the Andrew Martin Top 100 Designers list and the 2025 AWICS Interior Designer of the Year award.​

Based in Singapore since 1991, Nikki is a strong advocate for advancing the local design industry. She founded the Young Designers Award, partnering with local colleges to nurture emerging talent and raise standards in residential design.​

Her work increasingly focuses on wellness-centred design, grounded in the belief that the built environment is a critical but overlooked driver of health and well-being.​

As a council member, Nikki brings both industry experience and a forward-looking perspective, with a commitment to elevating design standards, supporting young designers, and strengthening the role of design in shaping healthier homes and communities in Singapore.
