Design reflects and manifests changes in society and the world. I am honoured to be acknowledged by SIDS for my work in designing human-centred workplaces for the digital age.
Project Synopsis #1 - Global Financial Institution, Singapore

A pilot project to test out this bank’s regional activity-based working standards for local teams. The project consultants engaged the user group closely throughout the design process, resulting in the business groups moving in with a high sense of ownership for the project, and successfully adopting new behaviours for sharing space in a new way of working. As one of the first banks in the country, we celebrated the organization’s historical occupancy at the mouth of the iconic Singapore River by weaving the context of the River into the spatial design story.

Project Synopsis #2 - Law Firm, Singapore

Collaborating with workplace strategists Paperspace, the project team helped to transition the law firm from a traditional enclosed to open work environment. We redefined the front of house experience as a flexible, all-day business lounge, where ad-hoc meetings, touchdown work and visitor hosting may all take place in an open, elegant and informal environment. This activated front of house space helped to transform the nature of interactions the law firm conducted with their clients, creating opportunities for more personal and customised client engagements.

Project Synopsis #3 - Tech Company, BGC Manila, Philippines

A Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) facility for a global technology client in Bonifacio Global City. The design brief asked to set a new benchmark for BPO facilities in Manila, in a boom economy where employers often have to compete for talent and employee retention is typically low. Our central theme is ‘Designing for the Filipino Millennial’ -- crafting an environment to reflect the users’ aspirations, ideals, and experiences
