Professional Membership
CATEGORY

CRITERIA
  1. LOCAL Professional Members
  2. The Interior Designer, Educator and Design Manager shall be Accredited Interior Designer (Class ID1 or ID2) by SIDAC in order to be qualified as a Professional (Local) Member.
  3. Application for accreditation can be done via sidac.org.sg
  1. OVERSEAS Professional Members
  2. Designer who is based outside of Singapore and must be a graduate of a relevant design courses from a tertiary institution or polytechnic in Singapore and/or recognized by the country/state it is offered in.
  3. Employed or practiced professionally in this design field for a minimum of THREE years, and can satisfy the Review Committee that they have attained an acceptable level of competence in their field.

CRITERIA
  1. Open to locally based (in Singapore) professionals and recent graduates, who do not qualify for Professional Membership.
  2. Also open to anyone with an interest in design, design promotion and design education.

Student Membership

Singapore Based Students

* SGD 20 for the duration of the course

CRITERIA
  1. Students of pre-approved reputed institutes of design and/or art in Singapore shall be eligible to apply for Student Membership.
  2. It shall be open to all students attending at least a 3-year (Full Time) diploma level design course.
  3. Upon graduation, student members can choose to renew their membership as an associate member of SIDS

Pursuant to the SIDS EOGM on 14th February 2022, new membership structure and procedure will take effect from 14th March 2022.

All SIDS Professional Members are required to be accredited by Society of Interior Design Accreditation Council (SIDAC) via www.sidac.org.sg

Professional members who have been approved/renewed before 14th March 2022 would require to be accredited by SIDAC for future renewal of their professional membership when it expires.
